Biography

Dr KOCE hails from Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State. He attended his Primary Education between 1971-1978 and proceeded to Government Secondary School Suleja (now in Abuja) for his West African Examination Certificate in 1983. He obtained his National and Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Federal Polytechnic Bida from 1984 to 1990. He was employed by federal polytechnic in Bida as an instructor in January 1992. Between year 2000 and 2004 his search for knowledge earned him four different Postgraduate Diplomas in areas of Management, Business, Education and Marketing from different Institutionswhich includesEnugu State University of Science and Technology and Bayero University, National Teachers Institute and International Academy of Marketing, London in Collaboration with National Institute ofMarketing Nigeria. He bagged his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Bayero University Kano in 2006. In year 2013 to the year 2018, he obtained his Masters of Philosophy Degree and PhD from, Babcock University Ilishan, Remo Ogun state. In 2018 he proceeded to Kwara State University for his Degree in Business Administration and graduated in 2020. He is a Registered Teacher with the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria. Dr. Koce attended many seminars and workshop within Nigeria and west Africa, of recent is managing workplace conflict in a Democratic setting in Accra Ghana.

He served as Examination Officer, Chief Examination Officer, HOD Marketing, Assistant Director, Acting Director, and Substantive Director in three various units of The Polytechnic, and the Director, University Affiliation. He supervised projects of many students within the Polytechnic, and external examiner to various Polytechnics. He developed two course materials for National Open University of Nigeria (International Business and Element of Business Administration) and has three Textbooks to his credit in area of marketing. He has over twenty Journal and Conference Papers, both in local and International Journals. He was appointed the Deputy Rector (Administration) of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida on April 1, 2022.
