Civil Engineering Department started with few staff in Federal Polytechnic, Bidda in the year 1981, as at today, the department has 47 accademic staff with Masters Degree and Ph.D in Water rsources, Structural engineering, Highway Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering. Functional laboratories in all the fields mention.

Addmission Requirement

National Diploma Requirement (ND)

To qualify for ND, Candidate must have five credit passes in Mathematics, English Lang., Physics, Chemistry & any other science subject in WAEC, NECO and NABTEB in not more than two sittings. The candidate must also have sat for JAMB.

Higher National Diploma Requirement (HND)

To qualify for HND, candidate must possessed a ND cerficate from Federal Polytechnic, Bida or its equivilent from any reputable Federal Polytechnic. Candidate must have credit passes in Mathematics, English Lang., Physics, Chemistry & any other science subject in WAEC, NECO and NABTEB in not more than two sittings.
