Directorate of Communication and Related Matters

The Directorate has been in the fore front of the business of marketing the Polytechnic and its activities. It is in most cases a clearing hub for cleaning information sought by the populace while at the same time; ensuring that adequate, efficient and effective communication is obtained and given at all times. The Directorate is the Rectory and directly responsible to the Rector and Chief Executive. It has the Director, Deputy Director and other designated Staff who jointly work for the realization of the Mission and Vision of the Directorate and the Polytechnic.

To guarantee and ensure, efficient and effective communication to and with all that have a stake in the activities of the Polytechnic and its long time standing achievement named BIDA STANDARD.

Our Mission

To promote the essence of effective communication in all spheres of the activities of the Polytechnic so as to dispel rumour mongering and its attendant negative consequences.

Daniel Peter Kolo

Head of Directorate/Unit

DANIEL Peter Kolo is a Chief Lecturer in the Department of Languages, The Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State. He has spent about Three Decades in the Institution. He has in the course of serving in the Polytechnic served as The Polytechnic Orator. He was seconded once to serve as the Public Relations Officer of the Polytechnic and was also the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Bida Chapter (1995 – 1999). He is a graduate of Bayero University, Kano and University of Ilorin respectively and specialized in English. –
