RECTOR HALTS UPWARD REVIEW OF ASSOCIATION DUES

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Engr. Dr. Aliyu Haruna Baba has placed a ban on upward review of dues and levies by all students’ associations in the institution.

In a terse statement signed by the Registrar, Mal. Hussaini Mohammed Enagi, the ban is in reaction to information indicating that some associations have reviewed their dues/ levies by 100%.

The Registrar, quoting the Rector, stated that any review now in the current harsh economic climate will be counter productive.

The statement directed associations to maintain the status quo on levies charged students hitherto.
