The Department of Languages was created in the year 2016 out of the former General Studies Department – GNS. It teaches the entire Polytechnic programs irrespective of the department. The department participates in all the other departments to graduate students.

Higher National Diploma Requirement (HND)

Languages department does not have admission requirements for students but all academic staff of the department must have good university degree(s)as condition for employment.
 
 
 

Mr Aaron Ndu Nwoke

Head of Department
Mr Aaron Ndu Nwoke, a chief lecturer, studied English language in University of Port Harcourt Nigeria and Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Nigeria. Published and journal articles, have been editor for some research journals, have been the national president of National Association for Teachers of Languages in Colleges of Education and Polytechnics – NATELCEP and external examiner for some Polytechnics.
