School of Environmental Studies

The Dean of School of Environmental Studies welcome all prospective students and organisation to the school.We train students to be professionally inclined in their chosen carrier through adequate academic and practical work.Students can become a private practitioner with the knowledge acquired after graduation and may not necessarily wait for white collar job.

School of Environmental Studies started with two Departments viz, Department of Land Surveying which later transformed to Dept. of Surveying and Geoinformatics and Dept of Building and Quantity Surveying (BQS),later split to Dept. of Building Technology.and Dept of Quantity Surveying.Three other Departments later established are Dept of Urban and Regional Planning,Dept of Estate Management and Valuation and Dept of Architectural Technology.Today,all the six Depts have full accreditation and are running both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes.The school is blessed with intellectuals with highly qualified lecturers who have excelled in their carriers and professions.Based on this ,two Departments are currently running B .Tech degree in affiliation with F. U .T .Minna.The School is well recognized in the country due to their tremendous achievements with a lot of awards both within and outside.
