3.0 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
i. Candidates for HND programmes should possess good National Diploma (ND) in relevant field, awarded by Federal Polytechnic, Bida or any other Polytechnic or College of Technology accredited for the award of such National Diploma by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). In addition, the candidates should possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings. All candidates for HND evening Programmes MUST possess JAMB admission letters for ND, else they forfeit mobilization for NYSC
ii. Candidates for National Diploma (ND-II Special) Programmes should possess Ordinary Diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings
iii Candidates for National Diploma Programmes should possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings. In addition, candidates must have sat for 2020/2021 UTME and obtained a minimum of 100 cut off marks, irrespective of schools chosen
iv. Candidates for Diploma in Law should possess a minimum of five (5) credit in the relevant subjects at O’Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sitting.
4.0 DURATION OF PROGRAMMES
i. National Diploma (ND-II Special Programmes) WEEKEND shall run for three (3) semesters for one (1) year.
ii National Diploma (ND-II Special Programmes) EVENING shall run for two (2) semesters for one (1) year.
iii The Higher National Diploma (HND) WEEKEND Programmes shall run for six (6) semesters for 2 years, 3 semesters each year
iv The Higher National Diploma (HND) EVENING Programmes shall run for Four (4) semesters for 2 years, 2 semesters each year
v Diploma in Law shall run for three (3) semesters (WEEKEND) & two (2) semesters (EVENING) both in one year
vi Lectures for EVENING Programmes will be conducted from Monday to Saturday between 1pm to 7pm
vii Lectures for WEEKEND programmes will be conducted from Friday to Saturday
5.0 APPLICATION FORM GUIDELINE
STEP 1: Visit the application portal (apply.fedpolybida.edu.ng)
STEP 2: Register (New Users only) using your personal e-mail address
STEP 3: Check your mail INBOX or SPAM to retrieve your login account
STEP 4: Revisit the apply portal and log in with your account, e-mail and password
STEP 5: Click submit and follow the rest of the guide in the portal.
6.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
All applicants must purchase the Polytechnic Admission form online by using different options of payment as described on the portal, and pay a sum of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000) only (Excluding Transaction charge) to the Federal Polytechnic, Bida. A payment option of REMITA (ie. Using MASTER CARD, VERVE and VISTA ATM cards and generation of RRR to pay cash in the Bank) must be made through the application portal only. After which, the link to fill form would be deactivated.
7.0 THE CLOSING DATE FOR SALES AND SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED ONLINE FORMS IS 28TH FEBRUARY 2021
